Family & Spouse of Chaplains

Career Support

THIS PAGE IS DESIGNED TO HELP SUPPORT OUR CHAPLAIN’S FAMILIES WITH INFORMATION AND RESOURCES.

1.) We encourage families of chaplains to contact us if there are issues where we might help you. We are your pastors. Please reach out to us through our contact information at the bottom of this page. Your contact will be treated as confidential and private.

2.) Family Retreats are an important part of our ministry to you. We now call these events “Chaplain Training and Credentialing Courses” but they are still for the whole family. We encourage you to participate even if your spouse cannot attend. Our next Training and Credentialing will be in the summer of 2020. Specific details on dates and places will be shared shortly. If you have questions about this, please contact us.

3.) As we continue to develop this page, we will include information on how to handle PTSD and Deployment issues with your spouse, a spouse’s blog to help create a stronger support network for you, information on how to see and view your role as a chaplain’s spouse. If you have any suggestions, please contact us and we will work to include your ideas in this page.
